BASF seeks 'permanent' cost cuts at European operations
FRANKFURT, Oct 26 (Reuters) - BASF (BASFn.DE) said costs at its European sites must be cut to a "permanently" smaller size because of a triple burden of sluggish growth, high energy costs and over-regulation, with the German industrial giant's boss throwing his weight behind a planned expansion in China.
The cutbacks at home contrast with a 10 billion euro chemical complex that BASF plans to build in Zhanjiang, southern China, to run entirely on renewable energy, as it banks on booming Asian markets and looks to reduce reliance on Europe.
What is happening in the UK and Germany is the model for the rest of Europe. Raise the Energy Prices so high with Sanctions on Russia and then impose bogus corrupt Environmental Regulations so strict you cannot operate heavy or light industries which then have to be exported or offshored to China or America, as they cannibalize what is left of Europe. Europe goes first this time around, then America follows next.
Europe’s descent into deindustrialisation
The rapid economic collapse that Britain is facing is simply an accelerated version of what the whole of Europe is about to go through; unsustainable borrowing to fund the gap between high energy prices and what households can actually afford. With the sabotage of the Nord Stream pipeline, there is now no feasible way back. Europe can no longer physically import Russian gas – prices will remain high until Europe builds more energy capacity, which could take years.
What is likely to come of this? High energy prices will render European manufacturing uncompetitive. European manufacturers will be forced to pass through the higher energy costs in the form of higher prices and consumers will find it cheaper to buy products from countries with normal energy prices.
The only logical European response to the threat of widespread deindustrialisation is to raise tariffs. This is the only way to equalise prices between more expensive European goods and cheaper foreign goods, therefore artificially supporting European manufacturing. This strategy will lower living standards, depriving Europeans of cheaper goods, but it will at least preserve some manufacturing jobs.
It appears that the goal is for these economies [BRICS] to decouple as much as possible from the West. If they are successful in doing that – and it looks like they may be – they may avoid the depression. The Nord Stream sabotage could be the point at which future historians mark the end of western dominance.
It is more confirmation that the “greenies” as in the ultra radical Green Communists are about to destroy the economy and say it is to save the planet from global warming and to control carbon emissions. A radical take down of the global economy based on faulty science and bogus theories that have yet to manifest. Because these very same Climate Change radicals have been selling their faulty science and bogus theories since the 1970s. Ice cubes were melting in the 1970s and they are now melting again.
It was these early fanatics of this theory that enamored a then young Al Gore who went on to found his own cult of climate change whose bastard devil child has not led to the Netzero Goals of 2030 where we are aiming for a 45% reduction in carbon emissions by 2030. Which is another euphemism or another way of saying we are going to reduce industry and economy by 45% to achieve our legally binding Netzero targets to save the ice cubes from melting and save the sky from falling.
And look that them now. Notice any change in their level of activism and stupidity? Answer, it is not not global temperatures that is rising, it is unfortunately the global levels of Wokeism that is increasing. That better have been some plant based Glue?
Not an isolated incidence, there seems to be a large number of them still around.
At least they are following the old Darwinian Model of Self Elimination from the Population for the Overall Good. Babies are not good for the Environment in case you have not heard the latest hipster “greenie” trend.

The IPCC is first report of 1992 showed that the middle of the medieval warm period was warmer than the present. Well, this didn't fit the narrative.
So by the time the 1996 report came out, it was a completely contrived graph called the hockey stick. So what they did was they got rid of the medieval warm period, and the Little Ice Age. And so when the instead of the graph doing this, they flattened it out. And then they added instrumental record on the end that looks like it's going way up.
The point is, is that the people that are calling him out on it, are not getting the media coverage. You know, because look, at this point, there's millions of dollars going into the whole climate change narrative.
Keep the Lie Simple and Repeat Often until it becomes the Truth. That was the old Nazi Way of doing things and today’s Nazi was following their Mentors ways. The Ice Cubes are Melting. The Ice Cubes are Melting. The Ice Cubes are Melting. Rinse and Repeat.

The good news in closing is that at least they found a way to fix the Nordstream undersea gas pipelines Sabotage for Russia with some of that extra plant based Glue. Because those “greenies” were up until now strangely silent on this very overt Act of Economic and Environmental Terrorism by the NATO Nazi Alliance.
